The Suffolk Design Management Process is an agreed approach across Suffolk authorities to guide development, ensuring that design quality is secured and discussed early in the process.

The plan outlines a step-by-step process focused on overarching outcomes at each stage of development, along with clear expectations for all parties involved, including the council, community, and applicant/developer.

The plan encourages discussions to be logged and tracked to monitor design development from all contributors.

The document and process are expected to be reviewed in late 2025.
