International Women's Day conference - RTPI East of England

Join RTPI East of England to celebrate International Women’s Day at an engaging conference exploring how women have helped shape the built environment, and what their experiences can teach us today. Kindly sponsored by Joseph Hardy & Company Limited.

The event will examine the representation of women and planning, the built environment and public art, alongside discussions on how women can recognise and harness their strengths to thrive at every stage of their planning careers.

This conference will offer a professional, inclusive and welcoming space for learning, reflection and discussion. Bringing together planners and built environment professionals, the day will explore themes of equity, heritage, culture and inclusive practice, and consider how these can positively shape planning and place-making.

Although this event is centred on International Women’s Day, it’s open to everyone. We welcome professionals of all genders to join us in celebrating, learning and supporting gender equality together.
